Stitching nest fail

May 26, 2010 13:23

Just spent valuable stitching time finding a completely new arrangement for stitching the Embroidery Project. My usual place in my recliner has served me well. Reclined for small projects that could perch in my lap, and sitting upright when the frame was larger. This project appears to require me to be much more vertically aligned over the fabric so the somewhat slanted posture became untenable when I reached the top of the design.

While it may still change, I have an arm chair of impressiveness (sort of Gothic) that has a nice added cushion for sitting comfort. Rorik has volunteered his Ott light as it has a smaller base, and a very small coffee table height table completes the new setup. It's blocking the back door, but should be easily moved. The floor Ott light was a steal at half price online on Black Friday and serves well as a reading lamp for him.

Sigh - I hate breaking in a new arrangement. I keep fussing and get little done.
