18 Days!!!???!!
In the midst of preparing for Novice, I have tried really hard to not think about just how soon Pensic will be here. ARGH!! I have made an amended list of what I have to get done for Novice (not too bad, but needful). I have several things at the bottom of the list which I don't see getting done, but I will cope.
Rorik is already starting to pack the truck for Novice, I'll go over the list of what is in there and see what else is needed. Like deciding on breakfast foods and coffee. And lunch on Sunday. Which means some sort of cooking arrangement. And drinks - we have a really spiffy new cooler and I'd like to show it off. Yes, I ramble.
If in my insanity I actually get prepped before Friday, I need to dig into the Pensic sewing again. And I have the morning report duty next week, so taking a mental health day will be hard. Cause this weekend will be a total loss for Pensic stuff - surprise surprise!
With the help of a bunch of people at fighter practice, I think I got my brain together for Novice. I am very grateful. Some things will have to be played by ear, but what could be planned is. I just worry about His Majesty - he's running up here after work - Argh! Rorik is planning to adjust his sleep schedule so that he will be able to wait up for him - it won't take much as he usually crashes around 2ish. I am very grateful he is making the trip, and I hope it is worthwhile for him.
I have to take a walk at lunch today - burn off some nervousness and maybe get some actual work done.
