Blah... but this is post number 12, I think!
Today I am trying to catch up. It is not easy. My mind is not in a 'catch up' kind of mood. I really want to be doing cross-stitch.
I went to a cross-stitch along on Tuesday, and it was fantastic to stitch again. I haven't done anything like this in 25 years, and I had forgotten how fun it is. We are stitching Jacobean flowers in four different patterns, and then they can be made into a quilt, wall-hanging, pillows, or some other crafty home item. They are lovely flowers, and I love working them. I've got the flower on the first pattern outlined and partly filled in. My friend Claudia and I are going to spend a couple of hours tomorrow at Fabrique working on our cross-stitch. I can't wait.
I've been very stressed out- the result of which is a second cold sore in two weeks. The reason? My darling incarcerated fiancee has been transferred again, and I have to deal with the after-effects. It is very, very stressful.

I have a snorting shih tzu who wants on the bed now. And there is an adorable poodle sitting at my feet. They help the stress.
I've gotten some letters written and sent off, and I've got stamps bought so I can send another one off tomorrow (if I can get it done in the meantime) but I have yet to get the phone calls I need to make made. That might need to be done next. I've got schoolwork for tonight that shouldn't take more than a couple of hours, and I've got some little reading and cleaning to do. I spoke to my attorney today about school, and what I should do there, and I am going to do a bit of research into that this weekend. It will be good to have some time off from school starting next week- but I have to figure out how to finish the program now, or they will charge me for all of it and return my financial aid, something I don't think they can do, but that they are threatening. Grrrr.... all this for a mock degree.
Well, I'm going to go cross-stitch now. Hopefully that will relieve some stress!!!!
