Blech
Still looking for a job, and getting a bit frustrated by the whole process. I've been pretty productive so far today, but I still feel like I'm not making any progress at all. Guess it's just one of those days.
I had a very good weekend, though! My local public library had its semi-annual sale this weekend, which of course gave me great joy. :) I went four times, bought 16 books, and spent a total of $25. Not a bad weekend's work, if you ask me! Saturday was a fun day hanging out with Jeremy: we went to the book sale, got some delicious Chinese food downtown (with homemade noodles!), and wandered around the Library of Congress for a little while. I also went to a Holy Hour at my church for some much-needed prayer and reflection.
Then yesterday I went to Mass, read a whole bunch of Dracula (which I finally finished this morning, hooray!), and picked Elise up from the airport. We went out to dinner and talked for a while, which was a nice time. Now, of course, 'tis back to the grind!
Sorry to be continually whining about the whole job thing. It's just tough when I feel like I'm doing my part, yet I'm still not getting anywhere! I know I just need to hang in there, work even harder, and hope that something turns up. It's a good exercise in patience. :)
