So, this will be pretty short...but I'm reading a new book and it got me thinking. I'm currently reading "A Man Worth Waiting For." I'm really enjoying this book! It's giving me good insights into what a Godly man truly is. I have a favorite quote from my reading so far:

"An ideal man...is the family provider, servant, and protector. God watches us when we watch over our wives and children. We pray for them and we put them first in everything: our time, our resources, and our patience. We make them laugh. We hold them when they cry. We control our anger. We are generous with our money. We are unselfish. We run from temptations of all kinds. We are loyal. We teach that love is a decision, not a feeling. We keep a promise. We are not critical. We do not hold grudges. We are merciful. We can have joy through the tears. We try not to be irritable or touchy. We are teachable"- Chuck Snyder

I found this to be so true! I want a man like this! As I'm reading this book, I think about all of the guys that I know in my life and I do know a few guys that are Men Worth Waiting For. The sad thing is, I don't think these guys are for me. I think they are meant for other girls and when the time comes these girls will be VERY lucky! In the mean time, I sit back and wonder..."where is mine?" I try to be patient and wait...but the lonely feeling keeps on creeping up on me and I don't like it. I want to learn to be content to where God has me in my life right now...and I'm guessing it includes not having a guy in my life. I guess I am just getting restless...but I need to pray about being content with where I am in my life concerning guys. :)
