(no subject)
So, it's been over 2 months since I have written on here! holy cow (as Harry Carrey would say). I moved into my house for this semester. It's been really nice living in the basement...lots of room for the 3 of us! I've very much enjoyed getting to know my new roommates! They are such amazing girls and I'm glad that God has blessed me with the opportunity of getting to know them! Next semester we will all be moving into the new dorm!! I'm really excited about that! I get to go on a tour of it next Friday! should be a good time! One thing that did happen to us was when we had all that rain a couple of weeks ago...our bedrooms flooded and boy was that an adventure! We got to camp out in the living room for a week with all of our stuff! haha yeah...I just hope I don't have to go through that again! lol
School has been pretty good so far. I had my first 2 tests of the semester today. I think they both went well!! I really need to start on my observation hours! lol time is running out...and yet I just keep sitting back and watching the time pass by. I need to stop that! I think my classes will be good this semester. Next semester should be interesting. I will have 17 credit hours...but 10 of them are elective so I'm kind of excited about that. Getting to take classes I want to just for the fun of it! lol I can't believe that I'm a Senior this year. It's kind of a scary thought. Granted that I have about another 2 years after I'm done here, but still. It's weird to think that I will soon be out in the "real" world and working and not being able to be around my friends all the time. I don't know how well I will do with that. Once I get my degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. I think I want to be a traveling PTA...getting to travel while doing something that I like..just sounds good to me! The first place I want to go is the Pacific Northwest! lol Washington here I come!
God has been showing me a lot lately. I don't know that I can actually formulate exactly what that is because I'm not exactly sure what it is...but I just know that he has been speaking to me about somethings. I feel that I really need to put more trust in Him than I do. I say that I trust him...but I honestly don't know how much that is true. I really need to work on that. I have a feeling that this year will be a big learning and growing year for me...which I think I really need! I need to grow up and start acting like an adult and take responsibility for myself and quit sitting back hoping that either it will work itself out or someone else will take care of it for me!
Tonight I went to the Superchick/Stellar Kart concert!! It was AWESOME!! although we left before Superchick performed, I greatly enjoyed Stellar Kart and the band before them called Article One. I'm currently listneing to their cd and I would suggest it to anyone! It's really good!! Well, I think that I have caught everyone up on my life thus far. Hope everyone has a GREAT weekened and Go Irish and Cubs!!!
