So my friend ChadLeeezard recently pointed me at this: a brilliantly silly demonstration of different sorting algorithms via folk dance...no really.... I cannot begin to tell you how much this makes me squee.

...is that volunteering at a ballroom festival from Thursday night through Monday morning will (a) have you witnessing a goodly amount of amazing dancing for free and (b) make you feel like your head has been stomped by roving teams of midgets in combat boots come the Tuesday after.

...of the weekend that flew by far too quickly, leaving me with the disconcerting realization that I accomplished nearly nothing of what I wanted in terms of writing (both thesis and creative) and that I have been completely over-socialized. ....for dance partners who are selling their houses in Baltimore and moving to the College Park area. The Ballroom Dance Gods smile upon me, oh yes they do. This will make practicing unbelievably easier.
