...I have generated poetry from strong feeling. I'm actually quite fond of the rhythm of it. Well, enough to publicly post it anyway.

( Not-terribly-angsty poetry born from a phrase that I liked (and yes, it's fairly straightforward which phrase it was). Also classic jalenstrix-style imagery references worked throughout. )

There's something deliciously baroque about writing thesis chapter drafts while listening to the gorgeous viennese waltz rhythm-ed music of Corteo. Yes, it's fanfiction. Yes, it's based off the Peter Pan 2003 remake...because it was frickin' awesome. Especially the portrayal of Captain Hook.
