I am so happy my/our Holiday presents for people are almost done. I would have wanted to get them done by October. Nothing beats going around the stores and finding inexpensive gifts before the Holiday season. That means more time goofing around than stressing out finding gifts the last minute. I vow next yera, I will be better. However, it is nice to go around the stores with a man beside me, after 10 million years of leading a single life. He has very expensive taste in gifts for people while I'm the practical one. But then he explained to me that it has been his tradition to shower people with gifts they love, not what he wanted for them (which makes sense if I'm earning 50T a year. But in totality, we did a great job. The gifts we gave our families & friends are very well-thought of. Our Christmas shooping was well-planned. He made a great comment about me: You are really a planner!!!! (i hate planning sometimes but I do better when I plan). So guess what I got??? A palm pilot.. so I can be better in planning, duh?! I swear I am from the Flintstones era. Habang lahat eh naka-NANo na or MP3 player na, I am still ok with my anti-jog CD player. My friends tease me about my cellphone because it barely works & I still use it. Recently, I found out I can get an upgrade so now I've got a new cellphone. I guess Poy is the technologically-gifted, then I am the technology-reaper. I'm also happy that I got him his fave toy, the NANO (ano bang ibig sabihin nyang NANO na yan?)& he's ecstatic about it. Then he got me the Sirius satellite radio which has all the kinds of music I love. How I wish it's a hour-long commute to my job so I can linger inside the car & enjoy the music. The Sirius stations display the music & the artist so this can help him with the music he wants to download & upload on the NANO & I can jot them down on the Palm Pilot.I tease him, "you got this all figured out to benefit you in the end"... I'm not used to all these techno hype but now that Poy is here, I don't feel too ignorant & too Flintstonish anymore.
