Thank you. Seriously. I don't know what's WRONG with the people of our country. They seem to have somehow got the impression that because the President is black, he will do a better job of running the country than his record seems to indicate he is capable of. *shrugs*

Personally, I find it difficult to believe that there are THAT many socialists in our country. It seems far more likely that half the nation just didn't look at his policies and beliefs at all, and voted for him because of his race, or perhaps because of his age.

I had not heard about the fantasy football thing, but I'm going to go and read that article now. What I DO know is that it would be utterly ridiculous for him to claim he didn't know the history of his Cabinet appointees. It is now his JOB to know those things. He has lots and lots of people who can do the research for him, even. If he is claiming he didn't know, then he's admitting that he is ALREADY shirking his responsibilities as President. :(

And all this talk about hope?? If people were so damned hopeful, the DOW wouldn't have taken a nose-dive yesterday! :P
