Another "X" to mark on the calander...
After today, I only have THREE MORE DAYS at home. The reality is slowly starting to sink in. Excited? Yes. Nervous? Even more so. The next few weeks should be interesting. No, I take that back. They WILL be interesting.
I typically like changes. Everyone needs change. Sometimes, however, it takes me a long time to adjust to abrupt change. College? Yeah, I would classify that under the "abrupt change" category.
I don't know whether I'm more nervous about the social aspect or the academic aspect of college life. Equally both, I guess. Searching for text books doesn't help lower the stress level much, either. I have to have 10 books this semester. This should be interesting...
Okay, I want to change the subject because it's depressing me. I made a new user icon! :D Who else besides Belle? (er, and the Prince! After he is transformed from his beastly form...) If you know me well, you know I <3 "Beauty and the Beast". Someday, I'll post the picture here of me meeting Belle in Disney World. Aah. Such a nice picture. Haha, actually, it's a terrible picture of me. But it's the meaning of the picture that counts. :p
I think I will soon have a website again! I'm finally straightening things out with my web hosting company, to where I'll have my domain again! It got 'lost' so to speak, when there was a server crash. I haven't had it in months, but I should have one again soon! MWAHAHA. I'm too excited! I'll probably still use my livejournal for regular posts, but use my site for other random stuff. I hope to have it set up before I leave for college! Which, like I said, is in 4 days. Too strange. I waited all my senior year and this summer for Sunday. Now that it's time, I'm not sure if I'm ready. Ready or not, here it comes. Sigh.
I think I'm going to go to bed. My pillow always makes me feel better. :D
