I close my eyes and I find a way...

Okay, partly because it's been forever since my last update, and because Amy threatened me if I didn't, I have decided to update my livejournal. Wow. It has been a long time since I updated. Let me try to catch everyone up.

This past Friday was my last day of work. (WAHOO!) Thursday, everyone brought in food, and had a surprise snack day in honor of me. It was nice, and I enjoyed eating all day.

Friday night, I went to the home football game of the high school where I recently graduated. It was weird not being a student, but it was kind of fun to see people I knew. I actually went to see the band, of course, because I hate football. I left after the band's half-time show. Mwahaha.

Let's see. I've enjoyed getting to sleep in a little now.

Yesterday, I got to go to Starbucks *YAY!* for a mission-team-meeting-thing. I think the meeting went well! When I ordered my drink, however, some guy took mine and I had to wait a while. It didn't really bother me at all, but they gave me a coupon for a FREE drink of any kind at my next visit! Doesn't get much sweeter than that.

In other news, next week at this time, I'll be at Transy. Interesting to think about, really. I'm glad I get to leave a week earlier than most freshman. (Once again, it's for the community service project.) I'm excited, but really nervous. I think I'll enjoy college, I'm just afraid about the workload. I am thrilled, though, to start my advanced music education! Voice lessons! YAY! :D I've been listening to more and more opera music lately. (Mostly because Ksenia keeps sending me such awesome music!) I am learning to love it more and more. It's really sad how unappreciated opera is...I don't think people understand how much talent, skill, and hard work it really takes. It's VERY difficult, but most people refuse to listen to it. Yet, they will ooh and aah over Britney Spears' ear-piercing "Toxic". Such a sad world we live in.

Well, I think I better go to bed. I've been watching too much of the awesome Olympic gymnastics events.

Goodnight, all!

<3 Luke
