Weekends are good
Well, unfortunately, it's Monday morning and I am at work. It's not that I don't like having a job, it's just that I work so fast, and the work that I am given doesn't last me that long. People expect something to last me about 2 hours, when really I've completed the task in about 20 minutes. I get these traits from my parents. It doesn't help that it's Monday... Mondays tend to be really slow around the office. I enjoyed being here more when I was assigned projects. It's nearing the end of my employment for the summer, so there isn't much left to do. I'm not sure if I'll be able to work during the school year. I know I'll have extra time to do so, but I think I'm gonna hold off on the whole job thing, at least until second semester.
The weekend was great. My mommy's birthday was on Saturday! (So was Cindy's, so Happy Birthday to you too!). We had gone shopping for her on Friday night. We didn't get her anything big, but a few little things that she could use. We got her a movie, a really pretty lipstick, some hair clips (she keeps losing hers :-P), and a CD holder. My dad also picked her up an ice cream cake for a surprise. Not knowing this, she made brownies on Saturday morning, and the plan was to have them after dinner. So, while Sean, Steph, and I were cleaning up the kitchen, we got the cake and presents out and sang her happy birthday when she came in. She was really surprised, and the cake is almost gone!
I got into the Sims again... Sean and I played all weekend.
I'm starting to think about what I need for school. I don't need a new backpack... I just got a messenger bag a few months ago. I want to keep nice binders for all of my psychology classes-- make it easier for me to study. And boy am I going to have to STUDY. Sean's orientation is on August 22nd.. and the first day of classes for me is August 31st.
MIA COMES HOME VERY SOON! I AM SOOO EXCITED! :-D

The good news is.. I get to leave work at 4 today. Yay!
