Getting Dirty

Today's Writing Effort

Last night Jenny had asked me to take the boys into school/bus stop this morning so she could get some work done and I said it would be okay. So I got up early and took care of the bunnies, chickens, and cats. I didn't let the bunnies out of their hutches because apparently one of them got out last night and was re-captured, but we don't know how she got out and so until the enclosure can be escape-proofed, the bunnies have to stay in their hutches.

Yuno is starting to get the idea that she doesn't have to take that awful medicine anymore. At least the stuff is all gone, but I need to get her into the vet to do a follow up because I don't think her lung infection is totally gone. I've heard some coughing still and it's not good. *Le Sigh*

Anyway, I took the boys in and then went to Biolife. The draw took a lot longer than I had hoped and I still haven't lost the weight that I need to in order to get to the lower donation bracket. *Le Sigh* I don't know what to do except get back on my old diet, but I can't afford that. I guess I just need to eat smaller portions and hope that will do the trick.

After I was done at Biolife, I went home and did some stuff around the house including putting rocks around the sections of the base of the fence that don't have boards and rocks already. I got really dirty doing it, so I started a load of laundry and then took a shower. Oh, and we had snow this morning and I had to scrape off the car while the boys stood around and watched, but by the time I went to get the rocks, the snow on the ground was gone and there was just a few flakes in the air.

I spent the rest of the afternoon trying to look up stuff about awnings for over the section of the enclosure that's going to be for the bunnies' birthing pen. I didn't get far into my research when I realized that no one had picked up Ethan from school. I had forgot that it was Thursday which is an early out day. The boys get done at 2:00pm instead of 3:00pm. So I had to rush into town to pick him up and I was lucky that I got to drop him off with maxheadwidth at the Department of Licensing where he was trying to get a new copy of Bastion's learner's permit. They didn't get it because the line was too long and the DoL people said that they wouldn't be able to help everyone before the office closed. But I did get to get a kiss from James before I headed off to work.

Work was work. But it's become apparent to me that I'm not made for this line of work. Even if I could get the hours I need, I can't find it in me to like the job even a little bit.

When I was done with work, I went to the Burger King where AJ works and napped in the car for a little bit until his shift was almost over. Then I went inside and waited for him to get done so that I could take him home. But I was so tired that I let him drive so that I didn't fall asleep at the wheel and kill us both. Once we were home, I basically zombie-brushed my teeth and fell into bed.
