trying to do a blog
i'm thinking of starting a daily blog on my life. my day is pretty interesting. u can also use this to keep up with my hmwk, lol! here goes nothing!
today was the first day back from winter break. i was sooo sluggish. i could hardly get up this morning! when i did i missed the bus and forgot alot of things at home. after breakfast, my stomach starting hurting really badly and i couldn't understand why. eventually, my dad came and gave me a ride to school. when i got to school, i totally forgot my worries and starting showing off my new cell phone!
just to give u a sense of my day, we have block scheduling so we only have 4 periods a day for an hr and 1/2 each. unfortunatly, lunch is still 1/2 hr. so , first period is American Literature Honors with Mr. Helbig. we are reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. In the end, the hero, persay, has a botched lobotomy, which is how the ward deals with unruly patients. his friend, the narrator, named chief bromden (or broom) puts a pillow over his head to euthanize him. so we were told to write in our journals whether we were for or against it. I was against it of course because i'm a catholic. my bff, dyllon, saw differently and we were allowed to debate our topics freely in class (it was a class discussion). I was on the side of the catholic church and he was on the opposing side. It was crazy. then we got our term papers back and I got and A+(for all who were wondering). I will post my term paper soon(here on LJ), i promise. Mr. Helbig said that he really enjoyed my paper. i will add his other comments in the time that seems fit.
next class was Internet with Ms. Terry. we started watching this movie called The Net with Sandra Bullock. one of our questions was what disease does her mom have and the answer was Alzheimer's but a boy beside me said that she had amnesia! i turned around and told him it was Alzheimer's. i got really hungry about 45 mins before class ended and i was just thankful that lunch was next!
I usually run to lunch but today i was really sluggish today so i jogged. i usually got at a sprint and i never get hurt but today i went slow and on the very last step to get to the lunch room, my foot slipped at an awkward angle and my ankle started hurting. after a while it went away. but during homeroom (w/ Ms. Young) my stomach just hurt soooooo badly!! i couldn't understand it! it also hurt in my 3rd period Chorus (with Mr. Magid), where we reviewed for our final next week.
in 4th period, it went away and i forgot all about it. last period is Algebra II Honors with Mr. Arreguin, but we call him Mr. A. we learned about (according to my notebook) about rules for exponents and application of exponents (interest on money and stuff). it was boring as per usual but he told us a story of how his parents almost got jipped for their house and how he saved them by just knowing the interest formula and how to use a calculator!
the homework count for the day was: amer. lit- finish the book. and do rewrites if u want.
A2- pg unknown #11- 37 odd, 39-47 odd (it's not due until wednesday anyhow)
after school i went back to see mr helbig to decode his writing on the paper. i stayed there for 30 mins waiting. when i finally got to him he said that it was written very mature and he almost thought that i plagerized but then he remembered how obessed i get when i talk about it. He said it was written like a college term paper even though it's only junior year. also, i was the only one who had a page full for a bibliography.
when i got home, it turns out that my mom had had a rough day also. she had lost the rent check. soon i went to sleep and woke up at around 7:45 pm to the sound of Accidentally on Purpose from the tv. I thought it was Big Bang Theory but i realized it wasn't when i checked the time. After that i went on the computer and that was pretty much my day.
