today was interesting. i woke up on time and got to the bus on time, lugging along some books that i needed to give to different classmates of mine. 2 library books belonging to a junior and 2 books from my bookshelf that i mean to lend out to 2 of my other classmates. My Chorus classmate, Floyd, has been bugging me about this books he wants to read, Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan. I finally gave to him this morning when i got to school. The other book was Evermore by Alyson Noel that i am lending to my friend, Del-Marie.
On tuesdays and thursdays we have flip schedule, 3 4 homeroom/lunch 1 2. So i went to Chorus class and I figured that i would leave my book in my locker and do my algebra homework instead. one problem, once i got to chorus class and Mr. Magid let us have 1/2 hr of free time, i found myself catching up on my sleep because i forgot my calculator in my locker! So i looked over the material in my algebra book and tried to catch some shut eye but my arms started losing circulation so i had to stop. eventually, he finally had the class begin and we reviewed a bunch of key signatures and what not.
during algebra we learned about nth powers and their properties and junk like that. It seemed easy to do! we took notes and i didn't use a calculator the whole class, mainly because i forgot to pick it up when we changed classes. :D by an hour into class my brain was feeling overloaded as usual. then my left side started hurting kinda bad. it sorta felt like how ur side feels after you run alot. then people started working on their pratice final (we have finals next week), but i finished copying notes that i needed. next was homeroom.
nothing spectacular happened in homeroom other than the fact that everyone forgot that today was not a free day. I read my book as usual, Cirque Du Freak book 4: Vampire Mountain. i finished it when i got to lunch anyhow. it was a weird ending. the book hardly even had a plot! it seemed like all this book was for was to set up the next book: Trials of Death. i thought, well why didn't he just combine the 2 books? it was weird.
next was amer. lit. I gave Evermore to my friend and my other friend, Genesis, who is now reading the 3rd book, and i were discussing how much it is about things that Del-Marie likes. then class started and we talked about One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. We talk about the end and some symbolism behind it and stuff. We also had to write about who we thought won the battle, Big Nurse or McMurphy. We also talked about who it was that flew over the cuckoo's nest. it was around then we had about 5 mins of free time. Del-Marie got lost in the book and even forgot she was in school until Mr. Helbig told us that the bell was about to ring.
lastly was internet. my side was still hurting and i was feeling slightly nauseous but i didn't want to leave school. I only had one class left anyhow. We were gonna continue watching The Net, but then everyone was talking and we talked for about half an hour before we realized that Ms. Terry was waiting for us to stop talking. I heard a rumor that my fav teacher, Ms. Leider, had a baby. that's impossible because she just got married in august (for one) and 2, while everyone thought she was pregnant last year, i saw her over the summer and she didn't look pregnant then! and i was the only one to see her over the summer. so i think i'm gonna call her soon to ask.
at the end of class i told my internet teacher that i had just learned how to make copies of dvds and she asked me if i could make a copy of the talent show dvd. I said yes and she said that she would bring a blank dvd tom so that i could do just that! after that i went home and went to sleep before my mom could get me to take a bath.
I woke up at about 8:15 and started my hmwk at about an hour later. once i was finished, i turned on my laptop and waited until it warmed up. while it did that i started reading vampire diaries. it's pretty good and sorta reads like a fan fiction of the tv show even though i know it's supposed to be the other way around. I found it interesting that in the book, Stefan has the same car as Alice Cullen, a 911 turbo porshe.
then i went on the internet and caught up on news, which wasn't much. the only real news is 100 monkeys on tour. which brings me to say that yesterday i saw a pic of a set list of their's and in the pic was a monkey dressed in baby clothes, i wonder what that means. some fans claimed that they gave them that monkey but why would they include it in the picture? is it some sorta secret message i wonder or is it just to show that they got that. seeing as they haven't responded to that, i think they are hiding something! also, i'm sure everyone else has noticed this by now but jackson looks like John Lennon or something with the glasses, hat and hair.
so that was my day and i am now gonna go to sleep. nyt everyone!
