I wish that people would think about the responsibility of being a parent more than they do. Most people just do it, or wind up pregnant and then *deal* with the consequences (which is a story for another day). Which I don't understand! I woke up this morning knowing it was going to be one of those days. Three years ago today my dad passed away, and any day that has a memory like that attached to it simply cannot be a great day. I just wanted to show some love for Ina Garten and her husband Jeffrey from Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network. It's so great to see a childfree couple married for 40 years so much in love. I've spent a lot of years worrying and dealing with everyone else's problems and not as much time as I should have worrying about myself. I'm finally at a place in my life that I feel as though I'm getting back to the person I once was that was very creative and in love with life.
