Big news out of the way first: I have a contract, and a pending inspection, for a house. It's on Dorma Avenue, which puts it about 4 blocks southeast of a major intersection in central Louisville (southeast is definitely the right direction to be from Preston & Eastern). Returning here was pretty graceful, although I still need to get back into a proper research groove (and a proper social groove, but I've got time for that). The garden is doing wonderfully -- it was badly in need of weeding, but I'd be surprised if it were otherwise.
