Everything is set. I took what Kim had said she wanted in a house and found something that fit. I reckon theres a fine line between surprising someone with a present like this and being high handed and making big decisions without their input. I'm hoping this falls into the sooner catagory and not the latter. I reckon I wanted to get settled. I know thers still plenty of time, but what better present than a house that was kinda needed anyways. I don't wanna leave Trick in a lurch, I'll either help him find a roomate or pay Kims share. Plus with the house that I picked theres potential for an apartment over the garage if he was interested and still wanted to be close to Kim.
The house is one she had mentioned interest in. It has a yard and four bedrooms. More than what we would actually need. Its near the elementary school. We don't close until next month sometime but the family who owned it previously left during the apocalypse and have no intentions of ever coming back here so they were happy to hand over the keys and take a months rent until the paperwork goes through.
Now its just a matter of Kim liking it and not shooting me for doing this. I'm intending on bringing her over tonight after dinner and showing it to her. Some of my men helped me bring in a tree. It still needs decorating but I managed to tackle some lights up. I'm reckon I wont be able to sit still until I know she's happy with this.
