On Sunday, Philip Reeve and I whizzed from Bath Kids Lit Fest to Coventry, and then to Hinkley to give a very short presentation at the Booksellers Association Conference. I got to draw a lot of portraits on Monday! I was at a London conference called Author Day, hosted by The Bookseller magazine, representing the #PicturesMeanBusiness campaign to get illustrators properly credited for their work. So it only made sense to bring in some pictures.

This weekend the Federation of Children's Book Group conference had an infestation! Two Oxford University Press publicists, both named Charlotte, both have mothers who can knit and both mothers made wonderfully cheeky Sea Monkeys. Hey, look at the huge hat I got for the Tots 100 # BlogSummit! Ha ha, I wish. When I arrived to give a talk at the studio venue, it looked like a Google office playroom or something, with lollipops and toys everwhere, I loved it.
