(no subject)
i am updating this quick from the last entry, what a surprise!
... anyway, good that i have something to write about.
From the end of this month I will be visiting Brazil and will be there for one month, and so I got a month off from my work. However I am in a quandary whether I should keep working at that place after I come back.
One reason why I am thinking about quitting is because I am pretty concerned about college, that I probably will need some time to get used to the japanese style of education again. In that case if I have work I wouldn't be able to concentrate on college. THe fact that the college campus isn't too close to the place I work at is also another element.
Another reason is because the work itself is not very interesting anymore. It still is fun frequently, but sometimes I question myself. The place I work at is bar/restaurant but people mainly drink so tent to leave foods untouched. Of course one part of my job is to through those foods away, and this sometimes makes me think. I lived in Brazil where so many people have difficulty affording daily meals and I thought I realized how unfair life is and therefore I should be glad that my parents are able to feed me. And what I am doing right now is feeding people who are already rich enough not to eat foods they order. I mean what the heck is this?
So yeah, I am thinking about whether I should quit or not. If I am to quit I would have to tell the boss by the end of this month, but it woud be kinda hard since when I got it I said I'd like to keep working after school starts. Oh well I'll see...
