Yesterday I went to this park nearby my capoeira teacher's house to make a berimbau (a string instrument used in roda de capoeira). People who joined the group are supposed to make one for themselves, so me and two others who newly joined the group this year were called to make one. Basically what we do is to take a branch of pau do brasil(whose length is about your height), peal off the rugged surface and use sandpaper to smoothen the surface. Actually that was all I could do because I had to leave for work, while everyone else got to finish off their berimbaus. I still have to do some more to finish off... will I ever finish?
