I'm gonna have to sleep on the streets

Sheesh, house hunting sucks. Especially when you're pressed for time. I've spent AUD $770 and 10 days to date and still do not have a roof over my head. Really regret not taking the one at Fitzpatrick Street now. Could have saved a whole lot of money if we had took that one. Now, we're only left with 3 options. It's really do or die as even if we apply for all those places, there's no gurantee we'll get the house too as there will be other people applying for the houses too. If all of them fall through, I really would have to sleep on the streets. ): Whatever.

I finished watching the drama Brother Beat yesterday night over 2 days. It's an awesome drama! I highly recommend it! Lots of eye candy and good plot. It's about a single mother with 3 adult sons who are all ikemen might I mention and how they cope with life with lots of punches thrown in. Punches out of love for each other of course. ^^ The robot from Zettai Kareshi is the second brother who's a bum and the dumb guy with a smart twin brother in Dragon Zakura is the youngest brother. The single mum is Miki's mother from 14 Sai no Haha. The eldest son kinda resembles Miura Haruma to me. Just a little though. I think it's the jaw. :P

I love seeing how each family member takes turns to overcome their weaknesses and find love in the process. Not one of them is neglected and given almost no situations to be in. The flow of the drama is smooth and at a good pace too. Oh, and funny of course! I love seeing them brothers have a go at each other as I used to always physically fight with my older brother for fun. XD

Two thumbs up for Brother Beat!

Besides that, I watched Pikanchi Double too. The initial one-third of the movie was weird but after they explained the drastic changes, it was alright. I hate how when they recap the past of a person, they use still pictures to make it like a slide show. 1 minute of that would have been ok but not like 5 mins which gave me a headache due to the jumpy scenes.

Now, I'm finishing Giragira soon. I initially wasn't keen on finishing it from where I left off as I was lazy but when I saw it was only 8 episodes, I pushed myself to watch it. Rather interesting. Good thing I roughly remembered what had happened before where I stopped. I think I'm gonna try Innocent Love next. Shall bite the bullet and tolerate the main guy's over toothy smile. At least it's only 10 episodes and not 12. :|

Today I watched the news on TV. It's sad that all of them were bad news. There's the bushfires in Victoria which turns out to be arson which has caused lots of people's deaths and loss of houses. Also a guy was attacked by a shark when surfing on Bondi Beach and it was just shallow waters. One of the worst ways to die in my opinion is to be attacked by a shark. I've always had nightmares about sharks or scary huge fish slowly chasing after me while I try ridiculous ways to back away from it. Shall eat more sharksfin. :/ There's also a 13 year old boy who became a dad and his girlfriend is only 15. Times like this, I think the song 'Dear God' by Tao Ze is very appropriate. Really, what is the world becoming to.

Random things. The new computer area in my school's library is super cool. The computers are mad cool and it feels like a lounge. Today, I discovered that the screens of one of the new type of computers can be rotate from landscape to potrait way. Super cool!!! The screen in the first place is huge! 1920 x 1200! So when I rotated the screen, it was so shiok! My chat window became so long, I don't need to scroll up to see what was said previously. My list of dramas I've watched made me feel like I've really watched alot as I could see them all at once. And friends page! Don't need to scroll so much! Everytime I use that computer in the future, I'm gonna rotate it. :P I bought a trucker cap from City Surf a few days ago too. I love it! It's quite useful in protecting my face from the harsh sun too.

When I take a photo of the cap, I'll post it on my LJ! I also took photos of the super cool computer screen too but forgot to put them in my thumbdrive. I'll post them together I guess.

Yosh, what a long entry. I'm going to go finish Giragira now.

HAPPY VALENTINES, EVERYONE!

P.S.: My niece won the baby contest!!! Thank you to everyone who helped vote for her. :D
