Sunburnt!

I'm sunburnt! And I didn't even go to the beach or anything. I only walked in the freaking heat for about 3KM. Eeks! Yeah, today was an extra tough day of house hunting. We decided to view the house at Kilkenny Street even though it's expensive ($500) and looked very far from civilization. True enough, it was. We took the only bus that goes there from city, bus 31 and and stopped way after the correct stop all thanks to the outdated instructions at the transport website. Good thing we were not too far off and had the handy map we printed out. Since we were very early, we decided to walk the long way to the house so we had fantastic views of the Swan River and the gorgeous houses! Those people are really rich man.

The house that we viewed was huge! It felt like the owners of the house were old people as the decor was very victorian inside. It had a lounge room on the right of the door and a huge and long living room. Master bedroom was nuts too! Loads of room for Fayth to worm around BUT too far. It would take about 30 mins just to walk to the main road leading to uni. And we don't drive.

From there, we walked more than 1KM to view the exterior of another house as there wasn't any bus going there. It looked very decent except the rent per room is on the high side. Whatever it is, we'll just view the inside and decide later. But it's very very near uni and Coles.

Just from all this walking, I got sunburnt. Luckily not those that's very painful. Just that my arms are red and has 2 colour tones and my cheeks are half burnt as I was wearing sunglasses. XD Just last week I was commenting how even though it's supposed to be summer but it was very cooling and windy. Now, it's so freaking hot. Today's temperature was 37 degrees. Thurs is the highest this week at 40 degrees. And I most likely have to view more houses on that day. Die man. I'm gonna look like a lobster at this rate.

Anyway, this isolotion from constant internet and inability to download anything meant I had been spending lots of time in the room watching dramas and movies. I finished Kisarazu Cat's Eye, Pikanchi and will finish Kimi wa Petto tonight. I actually have watched the first episode of Kisarazu long time ago but found it very weird so I didn't continue. But decided to watch it now as I saw a lot of people kept raving about the drama. I managed to finish it this time! I think once you get past the first episiode's weirdness, you can get through the drama. Probably also since I knew about Sho, Okada and some of the other actors already so I'm more interested in the drama. Love the theme song by Arashi too.

As for Pikanchi, I think Kiroii Namida is slightly better. At least the characters are funnier. XD Kimi wa Petto is just weird. How can Sumire continue treating Takeshi like a pet, hugging him and letting him sleep in her bed like a pet when it's obvious he's a human being just by looking at him. Dramas.

I'm wondering if I should watch Innocent Love or something else after Kimi wa Petto. I'm very hesitant about IL as i hate soap operas. Oh well, I still have plenty of time.

Yosh! Off to finish Kimi wa Petto!
