Updated on my Dad (And A&P)
Just a quick update!! (I haven't slept in 38 hours... so it'll definately be quick!)
I didn't sleep AT ALL last night! And this morning we saw my dad, he was awake (no drugs like the last surgery) and in a bit of pain, but with a ventilator. Around noon they took that out though!!
The big excitement is we were on two stations "top story" for the nightly news... they just can't get enough of the heartfelt stories on thanksgiving (no pun intended!!)
And tomorrow we'll be in the paper... so I'll scan it here for all to see!
My dad is doing excellent, they've got him up and attempting to walk!! No more than a few steps at a time, but still, he's walking!!
He's scared of what's to come. (Aren't we all?!) He's going to have a lot of limitations in the coming year... like having to wear a surgical mask everytime he goes in public. (So eating at resteraunts is out, and probably going to the bank and the convenience store...since they don't look to kindly on masked men
) And he can't eat any fruits and veggies with seeds, no popcorn, no lettuce (water has bacteria) but he still somehow has to eat heart healthy
I'll try to keep my journal updated...our lives are going kind of crazy right now!

I just finished my next to last Anatomy test (other than the final I suppose) and I got a 74%... but my grade is now an 84% which is still a B...which is still Honor roll!! (a 3.8 GPA then!!!)
This class is stressing me out! Because it's 2 semesters thrown into one, so it moves REALLY fast... but so long as I get a C in the course I can take the slower version of Anatomy (which is actually required for my major) next semester... which I'm sure I'd ace no problem!! So my next goal... Get an A on the next test, which is only over 2 chapters instead of 4!!! (GrRrR @ my instructor!)
