Even More Project Runway...
As if Rami needed another opportunity to show off his draping skills.
Watching everyone roam around the Met made me appreciate the fact that I can do it too, whenever the hell I want. Sometimes living within such easy access to such magnificent stuff makes you take advantage of just how magnificent it is. I used to go to the Met a lot, especially during the holidays when it's all tricked out in its' x-mas splendour. Now, not so much. I really should make it a point to get myself back there sometime in the near future.
I really didn't want Sweet P to go. Even though she didn't bring on the drama like she should've, I liked what she made. Funny how someone who I had pegged as the "wild chick" just because of a few tats, ends up being the most conservative and commercial of the designers.
I didn't see what was so special about Jillian's design. Ooooh...gold lining. And enough with the jackets already. I still can't understand why everyone heaps so much praise on her. The only thing she's made that's really amazed me was that black coat a few episodes back.
I'd like to be able to nitpick and say enough with the ruffles Christian, but I just can't. The fact that he made 72 different pieces to his outfit in the time it took Rami to drape his 1 piece of fabric was amazing.
I clapped when Chris made it through to the final 4. I rolled my eyes when the same thing happened to Rami. I hope Chris blows him out of the water competing for slot number 3. Rami is such a big yawn. He reminds me of Santino in that everything they bring down the runway looks exactly the same, except in different colors.
Hands down, my favorite part of last night's episode ended up being the scenes for the reunion show next week. Heidi, lapsing into almost completely forgetting she speaks English pulling "Victorya's always a little bit uptight or is it just me?" out of her ass, and Victorya's reaction shot was worthy of 3 or 4 rewinds. I hope they show the group's reaction to that little jab. I'd say I hope Christian makes Ricky cry, but that's just a given.
