Wow, it's been forever since I've updated this thing.
So, we have a pet at Chez Essex-Summers-Grey-Chambers. It's a little black rabbit! Rachel named it Lockheed. It's really cute, and has floppy ears and it hops around and sniffs things. I am trying to train it to do tricks even though Nathaniel thinks its brain is too small to learn to do anything. Whatever, Mr. I-Know-Everything-About-Science-Because-I'm-200! Hmph. I'm a freaking genius, I can teach a rabbit to do a trick!
Lockheed really likes the little yogurt chips. Also, he really likes Nathaniel, who will totally not admit that. But the other night he hopped over and sniffed him and I totally saw Nathaniel pet him, which he thinks is going to ruin his reputation or something. One rabbit is not greater than centuries evil, but try telling him that :P
Work is going fine. I got a promotion and a raise, and a good performance review. Even if I was lectured about my apparent "affection" for my boss, which sounds really creepy coming from Hank Pym, let me just tell you. Ewww. But whatever! I am glad for the raise because I want to buy Raven this really sweet gun awesome thing I found for her birthday--er, or something, she won't actually tell me when that is--and it'll make affording it much easier.
Also, I have been assigned two graduate assistants who are doing their preceptorship at the CDC and with SHIELD for public health, or something? I don't know, but they're both really...twitchy. They don't seem to like me much but I think they're irritated that I'm younger than them, or maybe that I'm a girl. One of them asks me to repeat myself every three seconds and I kind of want to smack him. The other one is really quiet and thought Rachel was my girlfriend. He wants me to invite him over for dinner. I totally should and then let him meet Nathaniel. That would at least be amusing!
I should be better about updating this thing! There's lots going on, I've just been neglectful.
Today is my mother's birthday. I tried to call, but the number's disconnected. I guess they still don't--well. Enough of that! I think I'll go and play with the bunny :-)
