Hey, John!
I just wanted to let you know that I read your article in Rolling Stone--OMG ROLLING STONE!!--and I wanted to send you a quick email. I think what you've done is really brave. I know it had to be hard. but I really think that you're doing all the right things, you know? I mean, I know this might sound--god, I hope it's not condescending--like I'm being all preachy, but I'm just really glad you have a chance now to help people.
I have to explain why I work for SHIELD and Nathaniel all the time--(would you believe, more about SHIELD? People seem to trust former supervillains more than the government, but I guess I can't really blame them, haha)--and I know that it can be really tiring trying to explain that you're really just doing the best you can to help others.
Anyway, hope you don't mind the email and that I don't sound like an idiot. :|
How are things? How's Doug? Did I tell you Nathaniel had lunch with JP a few weeks ago? It kind of cracks me up that they're friends--who would have seen that one coming?? Our rabbit, Lockheed, continues to like Nathaniel better than anyone else in the entire house (OMG, remind me to tell you about the cape thing. It's another one of those "swear you won't tell anyone" kind of stories. And totally hilarious!)
You and Doug are still welcome for a visit! I've got some time off, so let me know. It's ungodly hot but we've got a pool. :-)
