I finally got my carrier finished and all blocked and sized. It turned out really nice and is very comfortable to use. I have to tie it way down the handles because I am so short but otherwise it is okay. You can find the pattern for this carrier in the House of White Birches Sharing & Caring book. The doily I was working on was driving me crazy so I picked up another easier project and will go back to the doily when I get done with this one. Hopefully by then it will make more sense and it will come together better ( Read more... )

I have really been crocheting up a storm lately. I finished this bonnet for a preemie baby. Will more then likely donate it to the children's hospital in Portland.

I finally put all of the pieces together and he turned out really nice even if I do say so myself. I still have to embroider his eyes and mouth on but am in no hurry since I am not very good at embroidery. I thought about putting plastic eyes on him but since he is for a newborn baby was afraid that baby may bite them off when he gets a bit older ( Read more... )

I finished another doily. This one turned out really nice. I used DMC Cebelia size 20 thread in a silver color. I am getting better at using the size 20 thread. Wasn't sure when I started using it if I would be able to work with it or not.
