Progress Made
I finished the motif I was making but forgot to take a picture before mailing it off so I guess I don't have one to post here...sorry about that.
I did take a picture of the animal that I finally finished last night. Needless to say they did not make it into the envelope with the motif. Don't know what I am going to do with them at this point...more then likely will just keep them for a gift later down the line...
This is a mother turtle and her baby with two unhatched eggs...the pattern calls for worsted weight yarn but I made them using Aunt Lydia's Classic Crochet size 10 thread. They are a whole lot smaller then they would be if made with the yarn but I like them small for little hands to handle.
These animals are a great way to use up those little bits of thread and to make something that is fun to make. The pattern can be found in Amigurumi Two! by Ana Paula Rimoli.
