Ouran Host Club: Awesome this time. I like how they continue to have Haruhi being much more proactive about club events, actually structuring and setting up this new one herself.
I loved Tamaki's Obvious Man epiphany: "Hey! People are different, and that's okay!" followed by: "People are different from my expectations and that's okay!" followed by: "Oh shit, I'm in love with Haruhi! AND THAT'S OKAY." Fans everywhere let out a sigh of relief and praise heaven for this new and glorious day. I also enjoyed Tamaki's odd curry ingredients, the black magic club's insanity, Kyouya torturing people with crossword puzzles, and poor Hani-senpai having to watch Tamaki chop his bunnies. XD
Naruto: Late comment, but here it is anyway. Seems like all named people are still alive, and I'm ninety-nine percent sure that Kakashi is as well. Bad shape, but alive. Tsunade clearly and easily made of win and awesome. Which is apparently why Naruto gets to cut off her fight with Pain. Part of me hopes this is because Naruto will fight him, get nearly kickstomped, and have Tsunade and Sakura come in at the end to save his ass...but I'm not holding my breath. Also, more Sai, plz.
Penny and Aggie: Nothing eye-searing or enraging, mainly because I'm staying the fuck off the forums. We're just seeing them set up and vaguely reference to Karen's downfall. I hope it is glorious. I hope, REALLY hope that TC doesn't have them go easy on her, or write her downfall as ultimately sympathetic to the character. Because seriously, what a cop-out. You set someone up as an uber-bitch and then, at just the wrong moment, make her a sympathetic human being. But even if he does that? I will scream in fifty different pitches all at once if Penny is the one to convert her to good. Seriously. Fifty pitches.
I've been re-watching 'Utena', mainly the Black Rose Saga. Makes me want to write about the episodes. (Not fanfic, strangely, but meta.) And I finally got my Nadesico set back after it was being borrowed by my DM's brother. Am probably going to rewatch that and enjoy the wacky factions, anime-driven politics (literally, the opposing side are otaku who style themselves after the equivalent of Gundam,) and ramen. Lots of ramen. Mmmm. But not the movie. That sucked.
