I never had a Mackers Party, never even been to one, so I thought it will be fun to do one this year to mark my quarter-of-a-century. The National Stadium was flooded in a sea of Reds yesterday evening, and it was not the preview show of this year’s NDP. Yesterday, Tempest played their last game for league 2009. It was not the toughest game of all, but it was the one that we wanted (very badly) to play well in, and to end this season with pride and smile. Yesterday, was also the most emotional game. Went on 50/50 with Vian, slipped and crashed into the boards, injuring my chest. I also hit my forehead against the wall and sprained my elbow.
