Officer!!!
Hey ho! It's been so long since I've written on this old page... I tend to get an urge to post after consuming a certain amount of caffine. It's a diet coke today. Well let's see. I went to America and back yesterday. Literally. To the embassy that is. That's like... rightful American property correct? I got on a bus for Osaka at 9:20am... got to Osaka at 1. Ate lunch. Got to the embassy at 1:30. Got my affadavit for competency to marry! and I was back on a bus for Takamatsu at 2:30 and was back by 6. What a waste of city. I would have liked to spend some time playing in Osaka, and had planned to go today (Friday) with some friends and have a sort of blow-out/bender. A half-assed bachelorette party if you will. BUT the embassy decided to close it's doors on this fine Friday and ruin my plans for Osaka fun and mexican food and mexican food and mexican food. So screw them.
But going there was cool. A young woman there was the vice consul or whatever and she was cool... made me want to work there. But I bet it would be a big pain in the ass anyways. I like stuff.
Today I'm going out for beer and chicken like most Firday nights. We'll see how that pans out.
For those of you who don't know... my parents have decided to come to Japan for my wedding (Feb. 11th). Fabulous. It has made me very happy and it's giving me a little extra go-get-em for planning the damn thing... and for cleaning my apartment. I like stuff a lot.
In other news, the latest Japanese trend is dismemberment. YEAH! A lot of dismemberment murders lately... many of them family things. Very VEry VERy VERY cool. I like... dismemberments... I guess. It has been the cause for many jokes between Takeshi and I like... "Don't dismember me." Haha. Is that not funny?
It's very warm in Takamatsu today... no snow. Probably rain. I hope that the weather will be nice for my wedding as well! Right?
I'm gonna go now... I have THINGS to do. Byebye!
