Marion loved breakfast. She couldn't always have it the way she wanted it, and by the way she wanted it, she meant big and as much food as she could stuff into it, but the chances she got the opportunity were usually minimal. This was a bit of a surprise on Alex's part, and while she did put up a bit of a show of resistance, that was mostly because she was supposed to be working. "Everything is fine," Andy assured her, albeit with slight frustration. Jill wasn't moving and it was obvious Marion should have an explanation. Jill smiled warmly, her eyes somewhat friendly.

Biting the bullet, Alex acquiesced. "Mar, this is Jill. Jill - Mar," he said, looking from Jill to his current girlfriend. This was all that he needed. A breakfast apology interrupted by -- her.

Well, fuck.

"Jill and I were just catching up, but apparently, she has a plane to catch," Alex said, glaring at Jill.

"He just wants me gone," Jill said with poison through her teeth. "I'm - well, I'm pre-you, post-Sophie."

An ex. Well, this was just peachy.

She paused just long enough to lean back in the chair a little more, crossing her legs in front of her under the table. She really wasn't in the mood to deal with some catty girl that was clearly looking to get her riled over something. She didn't want to be riled. It would just kill her whole day.

Instead, she just flashed the girl a sweet smile that if you knew her, really wasn't all that sweet at all. "If he wants you gone, that probably means you should go."

Devon called that smile the Blair Waldorf which Alex hadn't gotten but it did the trick. Jill looked from Alex to Marion and then back again.
