I looking at today's NYT. There's an opinion piece by Robert L. Bernstein. He was HRW's Chairman from 1978 until 1998. The key point is his agreeing with the critics that "Human Rights Watch has lost critical perspective on a conflict in which Israel has been repeatedly attacked by Hamas and Hezbollah, organizations that go after Israeli citizens

I keep reading articles that mention the widening rift between Arab leaders and "the street" in their country over the issue of Israel. I have no sympathy for the leaders, even if them getting deposed makes things worse for Israel

It must be a slow news day. The Washington Post actually covered Arab hypocrisy. I've mentioned it before, but it's worth talking about it on the rare occasional when the media covers it
