Life has been somewhat crazy of late. Financial turbulence is the latest issue. I had several things I needed to do tonight, but the car the children use most often needed gas, so I thought I would take 20 minutes to fill it. I took the insurance buyout. There was not enough money to get the thing fixed. In the past 120 days, we spent over $5000 in maintenance. We got about half that for the buyout. Now we are down to two cars, the Subaru is at the top end of the mileage spectrum, so I need to plan on replacing it soon. We need three cars (or we will in the fall ( Read more... )
