At my work, we just picked up Troma Entertainment for at least two projects, maybe more to come.  One of my fondest childhood loves, I am now getting paid to watch these classics as they are dubbed for future screenings and DVDs.

Today?  "Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead", two months before it comes out on DVD!!!  Schweet!

So I just got word that the play did not advance, despite our best efforts and extreme optimism.  Having not seen the competition that beat us out to the top ten, I can't really understand why.  My assumption is a matter of taste, and possibly degree of difficulty.  Anyway, we get one more performance for the theater company, and possibly another ( Read more... )
