Hey everyone,
I'M WORKING WITH DAVID HYDE PIERCE!
Ok, not with him exactly, but down the street from him. Our Big, Little Theatre got bigger and a hell of a lot more convenient by moving to 354 W. 45th St., right down the block from the Hirshfeld Theater and their production of "Curtains".
For my first and grandest project in this new theater, I will be directing, "DURANG DURANG", a set of plays by the amazing Christopher Durang. It features five very funny plays, including parodies of Tennessee Williams and the old MCTC favorite, Sam Shepard. I'm knee-deep in rehearsals and paperwork, but having an amazing time working on it.
Right now we have a run of 11 performances on Wed-Fri from April 2nd to the 25th, but funds are low, so we desperately need people to make reservations for the first three nights, April 2, 4, and 9th to secure our run. These reservations can be made at www.smarttix.com or by calling 212-868-4444.
Tickets have gone up to $25, but when you see the location, you will understand why. I look forward to seeing you, especially if we haven't talked in a while.
Thank you all, and best wishes,
Tom Amici
