This week was a three book (and many novel-length Hobbit fics) week!

I read Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick and it was hauntingly GREAT. It's this year's Printz Award book, which means the ALA thought it was the year's "best book written for teens, based entirely on its literary merit"
