yays
- Have put
skuf on a plane that is even now carrying her away. This by itself is, of course, not yay, but every visit must end, and the visit itself was very very yay! We ran a trail race, and drove to a mountain ghost town, and watched vids and movies, and ate delicious food. And I killed TWO spiders for her. In conclusion,
skuf is awesome and should visit more often. - If everything works out, zebra363 will join me on my cross-country hike of England! And I hope to manage to see motetus and tryfanstone as well. Yay!
- Am putting together my Yuletide requests and offers. I always love doing Yuletide!
- Am nearly finished with the next chapter of the cyborg story. I had some rewriting to do when I decided that I wanted to handle something differently than the direction I'd taken it initially, and I was a bit annoyed (and apprehensive) at having to do this, and put it off and dithered.... but it was easier than I expected. Best of all, it led naturally to some interesting developments!
- eagle_rbb has begun posting! I'm up Thursday!
- I got my copies of the BBC Eagle of the Ninth miniseries that has been floating around the fandom, and have begun ripping them to avi. (Thanks, seascribe!) I hope to make them available soon. Heck, I hope to actually WATCH them soon!
- Finally, I got my Festivids assignment and my excitement cannot be textually rendered! My recipient wants something that I was seekritly hoping I would be assigned, that I have been yearning to vid for quite some time, and it appears she likes the same thing I do in this source. To say I'm delighted with this assignment would be an understatement. I can't WAIT to get started!
