So, I've been getting some writing done. Not as much as I'd like and not necessarily in the fics I'd most like to be working on, but it's still a good thing. So... they did total our car. We're getting a lot more for it than we expected, but we still might hold off on buying a new one for a bit. We're under a lot of financial stress lately, so hearing that they were giving us literally twice what we expected helped a lot. I'm still stressed, but it feels less apocalyptic. So Ava turned four last weekend! Yeah... I'm not really sure how that happened either...

1) I am home sick today because (unsurprisingly) I've caught whatever the kids have had. Low-grade fever, nasty rattling cough and very achy muscles. 1) Today, my daughter informed me that when she grows up she wants to be a duck-billed platypus.
