I haven't written a single word since I posted the last chapter of Erebor Restored. The mojo just isn't there. I finally watched Being Human (UK) and I absolutely love it. But, of course, my OTP doesn't get a happily ever after, that would just be silly. So I'm writing again. Nothing too long or elaborate, just a ficlet and a single story.

It's nice to be writing again, even if it's not Erebor Restored or an original work. I'll get to those. All in good

I'm an the type of writer that needs inspiration to create. I need to be able to see the scene play out in front of me and care enough about it to write it down. The characters don't do what I write, I write what they do. That becomes a tremendous problem when I get distracted or no longer care. He is having a major case of Hobbit Burnout. For his birthday, all he asked for was a single day with a Hobbit word spoken. hehehe I have since decided not to ask him to edit my work anymore and as such, all future chapters will be unbeta-ed. That extra week is going to come in handy for checking and rechecking for mistakes.

Before I finished the last chapter I went back and reread the rest of the story... and made some minor revisions. My husband says, "Don't Lucas it," as in George Lucas and his revisions of the origonal Star Wars, but what I changed was mostly gramatical or sentence structure. Nothing major. BUT! It's been about 6 weeks now and I'm still going strong. I can average about 3000 words per week, most of the time, a bit more, and I'm learning how to add other things back into my routine.
