Five hours in a car with Jake Barrett will make any man come... to know himself a little better. Indiana is really long. Kentucky is really tall. We flawlessly executed the "over and down," technique. Smooth-sailing all the way to beautiful BUMPUS MILLS.
Our day started out at about 1:00.
We drove to TSD and got my check.
Cashed it. The actually paid me for my vacation. That was nice of them.
Headed over to Best Buy to get pappy a gift.
Ate at Subway.
Bought some comics.
Dropped in Mystique for money.
Went to the homestead.
Back to Mystique to give Candace her power cable.

At this point in my relationship/experiences with Pappy's mom, one would assume that nothing she does could surprise me. However, a dead spider collection will do a little more than throw someone off. I'm just saying.
I think that this will mark the first day without some sort of emotional "episode," since Mike passed. This, like all things, will surely pass. Vacation was an awesome idea.
