I was running low on breakfast foods so I told Mom I was gonna get stuff from Costco or Amazon. I ended up getting both. In addition, I got snacks! I got potato chips because I was craving cheetos. I then got snack bars because with the breakfast I had been eating I was getting hungry around 11, when lunch is around 1:30... I got the customary nuts / trail mix that I snack on as I drink my gatoraid at night. OMG... I went to bed early yesterday and didn't drink much and had foot cramps again! Anyway... Currently not hungry, but want to snack for no reason. I then got my Jimmy Dean crossandwichs, biscuits and gravy. I also got the Costco Angus cheeseburgers. It was good... Except a little soggy and the cheese was like liquefied / gone by the time I ate it. Bought Mom her nanners and got freezer pancakes. They're on the small side, but might be cheaper than McD every weekend. If anything it can tide her over if I don't get McD.
Mom went out to galavant with her local LIDC peeps. They ate at this Japanese place. Mom offered to get me dinner from there, but "I don't like Japanese food."
Dream. I don't remember how it started, but I was sleepy... I was then driving. I was actively turning the wheel in the opposite direction, but my car continued to swerve off the road and into shrubbery. As I slowly drove through the bushes, I expected to hit something that would stop the car / kill me. But it slowed down as it went thicker in and I was OK. But then the next thing I know... I wake up in my driveway and my car is in a position as if I was about to hit Mom's car, but it was stopped short in front of the tree and between it and the walkway. I didn't hit anything, there was no damage. But I wake up confused thinking... Why am I sleeping outside in my car. I'm cold. I then realize I was laying in the back seat, as I said, as if I had slept there, by my choice and not fallen asleep while driving. I then see the garage door open / light on. I go into the house and there are cats and another animal which follow me into the garage. Well one stop short as the door is closing. I can see through the door, even when in actuality it was solid, but I could see it wanted in, so I open the garage door again and close it before the other animal can get in. I'm now in the house and I go to the TV room where Mom is dressing for some party. Dad is behind her asking her what he should wear. I start asking Mom about why I was sleeping in my car / being confused by it all, in addition, why was the garage door open. I then mention the 2 "stray" cats that had come in.
7500centfish notes they have collars on from Knuclebump Farms. Except... We just think they are souvenir collars and not actually being from there and they had somehow escaped and wandered to our house and needed to be returned. We decided to wait to see if anyone would claim them.
Someone called into Catholic Answers shortly after QEII died. She died on a Marian Feast and supposedly there is some prophecy that her death would bring about the Second Coming. Uh... Why would a "Protestant" Queen bring about Jesus coming back??? They do say with Charles as King, there might be more... Friendly relations with Catholics. But then also other religions because he seems more secular, even when he's head of the Anglican Church...
Happy Birthday Ginger! Lol. I greeted her on Family Chat... I then made separate posts on "both" of my instagrams. Elaine then said it's Emma's bday as well. I then accidentally texted
7500centfish and
kumquatqueen the wrong screen shot. LOL!
I love
Catholic Twitter...
Anything I want to say about The Fisherman's Tomb? cc
7500centfish The 3 Amigos save Rome from being destroyed during WWII. They had a bunker in plain sight that housed the Jews... They disguised them as shepherds in the field, later as Priests in cassocks when they tried to move them. After WWII there was a fight for who would take over Italy. There was a growing communist movement after fascism. The Pope fought that by building more family oriented churches vs big cathedrals. Once again it was funded by the Texan. I tried to see what one of these family parishes was like. I think it mentions they were similar to American Parishes. FYI, this is post war, so... I don't think 1960s like my parish exactly, but... Similar? Rumors of curses attached to Peter's bones. Which was partly why there wasn't a quest to look for them. The author quotes Shakespeare's tombstone which mentions a curse for disturbing the grave. And that's where I left off.
