It's not that I'm uncomfortable driving...
I'm not comfortable having to park and accompany them to check in to their flight like they did last time when 7500centfish was around. I mean... I can totally just drop them off. I can't drop them off, then park (driving around the airport like a crazy person) walk to the terminal, assist them, with Mom, etc, etc. Add to that, flights to the Philippines are at midnight, on a "school night". Sorry... Call me selfish, but yeah, I can't. Maybe if it were a Fri or Sat it would be better. But like I said, no.
In other news... Mom went gallivanting with the Aunts. Mom claims to have texted me (and 7500centfish?) that she had gotten the mail and went out. I said it's probably in her draft, but I guess it got deleted? Part of me wants to joke or get 7500centfish to "scream" at Mom for not letting us know what she's up to like she does with us. Well, 7500centfish mostly. Lol.
I was supposed to have a new coworker train today. Except she came in with a sore throat. So Marna made her check herself in, start meds, fill up her employee paper work and sent her home. Once again having things thrown at me while I'm trying to do my regular job.
Someone called with the same name as the priest I went to confession to in HH. So I googled him. I guess he has his own parish now...
Just something I forgot to mention in my #SundayMassTweet... I saw a lot of Sunday 9AM parishioners at the 5PM when we went. No Matt Maher... :( Was everyone else at a Health Fair in the AM? Lol.
Daily recap of The Fisherman's Tomb! cc 7500centfish They're talking about the Vatican Secret Archives. They looked into it to see if they would find any evidence about the location of Peter's Tomb. They once again talk about hiding secrets, but they mention ordinary things, like the testimony of Joan of Arc's Trial, Galileo's confession (not a sacramental confession...), Mary Queen of Scot documents, etc, etc. Mentioned the location of Paul's tomb was well known and venerated. Once again talking about Peter, what we know of him and what we would expect if the remains were found.
Do I want to recap Thursday Murder Club? Not really...
Got a letter from the church asking if I wanted to renew our candle. Yes. I just hope they let me drop it in the basket on Sunday. If not I have to send Mom to drop off the check. Or mail it... Mom keeps on saying "I (meaning she) need to pay for it." But no I keep telling her 7500centfish and I will take care of it.
7500centfish then sent me a link saying she and Jennie's SIL are doing online cooking lessons, do I want to join. I mean... I'll watch, but I won't guarantee I'll participate or learn anything. Lol.

Should probably call it a night early. Have an MD appt at 8AM...
