New chair...
The Aunts are back and I put Tita Carmen's chair, which I had been using in the living room because Mom made it seem like no one had used their chairs.
Anyway... After I typed up my entry, I got a notification that my meds were ready to pick up. I then realized that the pharmacy closes early on the weekend and it might be closed after Mass, but it also closes for lunch so... I made a quick run to the pharmacy. Lol... When I got there the tech remembered me... But then Grace called him saying he needs to come now and "make them wait!" Yeah, I understand and it made me laugh...
The new neighbors only seem to be around on weekends. Seems like they and a group of people are referbing... There were carpets on the lawn last weekend and this weekend they were landscaping. I can't tell if they're like living there, but have connections or just flipping the house. I feel like I've heard childrens' voices and dogs... So why would they bring them to referb?
Mom said part of my loan, which I guess I got the alert about was paid up, so I don't owe as much. I think I can pay it on my own now...
After that I showered and prepped for confession.
We left for the airport. Mom and I were looking for 2 wheelchairs, but only saw one. I asked for 2 boys and now here is 1... Lol. Mom wanted to go home first, but like I said, I wanted to go to Confession. So we went to church first... I was offering to go in quickly, go home and come back, even have Mom drive them home and come back, but they said they would wait. Oh yeah, I got there almost 20 mins after 4 and there was a line of young kids... At the end of Mass, Fr. I included a prayer for the confirmandi. Do I have anything to say about confession? Not really...
Lol. I just realized! Usually Fr. I gives me 6 Hail Marys or Our Fathers... This time he gave me 5! WHAT!?!
#SundayMassTweet! I had trouble focusing. Deacon Paul talked of idols... How can the Israelites after seeing the plagues, the passover, crossing the Red Sea. How can they still worship idols. Talking about God seeking us and doing everything to find us. Then, he made an interesting parallel to the feast for the Prodigal Son and the Eucharist. That it is that feast he is being welcomed into, in which we partake in... After communion the cantor sang Pie Jesu... 😭 But then people clapped... 🙄
After Mass we went to Pope-yes!

Stupid Rom Com recap! What was it called??? It was another fake engagement / fall in love story. This guy goes to his Best Friend's mother's wedding and he and the friend's kid sister live in the same city and are gonna meet up. They practically grew up together, etc, etc. He's a player (is that still a term?) and she has a habit of falling for losers. Before they get on the plane someone sees her crying and offers her an upper (is that a term???). So the guy needs to take care of her. At the same time the father calls asking where he is, expecting to see him that night, but the flight is delayed so he breaks the news that he's dying of cancer. His dying wish is to meet his future wife... And to cheer his father up he says he already met her... They initially make this thing about him being Jewish, she being Irish Catholic. They have a priest preside at the Mother's outdoor wedding!?! Then they have them share an appartment together??? As I said, they grew up together so it's not uncommon to have them hug and comfort each other, but since people think they are engaged now people are like aw... Also the fact that the guy is a player they think he's only marrying her because she's pregnant and the brother threatens to kill the guy! A weekend turns into 1 month. They play engagement for the parents picking venues / catering, wedding gift lists... There is a no strings attached date other people part, but then she gets jealous. She storms out of a catering thing and reveals she loves the guy. He talks to the girl he's sleeping with and realizes he likes her too and the other girl kinda encourages him... The father has a heart attack and they all run to see the father. It turns out to be heart burn. And he really proposes, etc, etc.
