I need to stop writing in my journal!

I thought of saving this for tomorrow, but at the same time it's fresh in my mind and if I procrastinate it's not as good as I want...

Mind blown!  I probably should have watched this before I went to confession.  I mean, I knew you had to do an Examination Of Conscience, but...  I thought it was just thinking of your sins / using the 10 commandments as a guideline.  But no...  It's so much more!  Apparently there are guidelines for like situations in life.  Fr. Mike mentioned when he first learned of the ones for Priests.  WHAT!?!  So...  Are sins relative?  And like I said, I though the priest was commenting on me when he said a child would confess about disobeying parents.  But...  That's all I have really, just my Mom and I at this point.  My sister doesn't live here and...  I don't know...  The 4th commandment is about your Mother and Father so...  Am I immature in my confession?  Anyway, so I went through the list for single adults.  WHAT!?!  Not praying is a sin!?!  Woops.  I mean, like I said, I don't have formal prayer.  I pray every now and then...  For safety as I drive, a random thought here or there.  If I lost something.  All those don't add up to 15 to 20 minutes.  Then there is that whole have I read the bible or learned via spiritual books or literature.  Do youtube videos and podcast count?  Like I said, I've been learning a lot that way.  And...  Me just reading the bible isn't gonna do anything!  Geeze!  I have enough trouble reading / interpreting literature on my own, you think I can do that with the bible!?!  "Have I paid my taxes?"  Lol...  I don't know why I find that funny.  Anyway, I need to add formal prayer in my life.  Maybe I'll start the rosary again.  Lol...  Maybe I'll learn it in Latin.

Here is the priest / religious Examination of Conscience.  Some interesting stuff...
  • Have I participated in anything that is of the occult (New Age): Ouija boards, fortune tellers, séances, channeling, astrology?
  • Have I used things or spent money not in keeping with Gospel poverty? - In that Men in Black podcast they said you can really tell a lot about a priest by their watch, their belt and their shoes.

Oh and I saw some other rando video on confession...  You're supposed to intro yourself, like set a baseline, saying it you're married / unmarried?  Never heard that before.

This AM on EWTN someone interrupted mass during the consecration cursing / saying to bring back the Traditional Latin Mass...  Yeah...  And I thought reddit was crazy!
