Okay, so about lovely Emerson-Vivienne. The first part of the name is my college-of-choice, Emerson College in Boston where I'd go for Musical Theatre. The second part, Dad came up with. He thought the alliteration would be funny. And it stuck.

I'm welcoming my newest viola, Emerson-Vivienne, to my family. She's pretty, but I miss my old one that played really well despite it being a little beaten up. Emmy (which she is known as with friends) is lighter wood and it's thinner, but still has a pretty tone.
