Work and Other Things That Make Me Go "Boom!"

The chemistry teacher has mood swings. The chorus teacher is a hypocrite. The English teacher is amazing. The history teacher is amazing-but-in-a-make-your-head-hurt-with-logic way.

Explainations? Sure!

Chemistry - The teacher decided to teach us that "scientists are people, too" and when the bell rang on her last word and the class got up, she screamed and got angry. Then, my friend asked her a question and she was all obnoxiously cheery again.

Chorus - He gave us "Blackbird" about two weeks ago. Today, he collects all of our music and tells us, after two weeks of practice, we aren't singing it. (THE TIME IS KEY!) Then, he hands out another piece and gives us the busy work of copying our parts and all that jazz. When asked if we were going to sing this piece, he said "Yes. Why would I waste our time on a piece we weren't going to sing?" Part of me is like "HELLO! WE JUST SPENT TWO WEEKS ON BLACKBIRD, YET WE WERE JUST TOLD TO FORGET THAT PIECE!!"

English - We finished going over Grapes of Wrath and our project for the other classes is due Friday. My poster just needs to be put together!

(then, French Club, but nothing beyond Orangina and Nutella and Ratatouille here.)

History - Went to the library to work on the term paper. Child labor is depressing to read about, but I think it'll help others to understand the problems with it. He made our heads spin with ideas and such, but he's still amazing.

Then my viola lesson, which was nice. We talked about the loser of a teacher that teaches orchestra at school. She was picking on one boy about not having extra strings in his case and e-mailed all the private teachers of her students to tell their students to have extra strings. My teacher e-mailed back telling Miss L. to ask her star student (Logan) if she had extra strings. Needless to say, I don't. I've been meaning to get some and I need to take a trip to the shop anyway because my viola has a crack in it, but Miss L. is stupid and needs to die.

Now, I'm at work. Drinking lots of water from boredom, getting angry at the library for not having books on child labor, and happy at the library for having the fourth Pink Carnation book. Though I still will buy it because it needs to be next to the first three books on my shelf.

idiots, work, viola, school
