They're hidden within a thicket of trees, and this time the moon isn't anywhere in sight. The stars wink at her as her body arches into his desperate touch; secret, dirty, wrong.
Sayid's hand skirts down her side, slipping beneath her shirt to rest against the small of her back. His palm is hot and heavy and his calloused fingers are rough, but his breath is on her cheek, his lips drinking up her tears, and it sparks something inside her. Her hands close over his shoulders, nails marking his skin enough to draw blood.
She discovers, as he slips inside her, she wants to be his soul.
